REFLECTION:

In my perspectives and model, I mainly structure the old quad as a connection between the death world and living community. I want to demonstrate the feeling that death is not necessary fearful to people, but a new lighten start. In the isometric I used the shape of old quad to demonstrate a process of rebuilding architecture to represent the rebuilding of life. Notations also are used to show the movement of people and how time flows influences things. By exploring different washes on the perspectives, I've learnt about the color effect to the viewers, and how applying different color in the artwork could deliver different message to the audiences. During the process, the most technical skills I've learnt is further modeling a more complex construction with new commands in rhino from the workshop. Also, because I need to further edit the perspective in the photoshop, it is a great opportunity for me to progress my skills and exploring more different tools or filters in the Adobe photoshop. Nevertheless, I suppose more work need to be done on image editing to be more familiar with the application. From the reading and lecture, I've gained more understanding on spatial exercises and the importance of notation in modern urban society to represent more depth information to the viewers.
